Social History 1917

1917 began slowly as far as The Ormskirk Advertiser was concenrned littleof no news from the Fronts. The Tribunals continued unabated and were again a prominent feature of the Advertiser. Now the re assesment of men began, those who had been given exemption from service and the lower graded men were brought back for medicals.
