Men shown here enlisted Army Service Corps, some post 1916 were ‘re trained’ then died as Infantrymen, significantly no other Corps eg RFA RE’s, only Infantry.
First ‘service number’ ties to date of entry theatre, almost all ASC to theatre, that will be the number stated on their medals. The memorial scroll will state unit with whom he died, or should do.
RFA like ASC had a number of ‘backwater men’ who followed the same transition.
‘Once a soldier, always a soldier’
Grave image shown taken likely by myself, unless stated, no image shon, assume non found, yet to be searched for, using ‘Find a Grave’
With no records existing who served at Lathom Park one can never say 100% this archive is absolute.
